Value Seeds Are ‘Sprouting’ In The Brisbane Studio

Buchan recently held a studio wide initiative to create a ‘growing’ installation that embodies Buchan’s 5 core values: passion, collaboration, courage, curiosity and diversity. The goal was to revamp each studio and feature the values that inspire our workplace and designs. Brisbane Studio Hosts Students On Design Crawl

The Brisbane studio was buzzing last week with architecture, interiors, industrial design and building design students from The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, Torrens University Australia and TAFE Queensland, who visited as a part of the 2019 Design Institute of Australia Design Crawl. Sunshine Plaza Now Open

The newly opened Sunshine Plaza shopping centre in Maroochydore, Queensland provides visitors with a unique shopping experience which embraces and celebrates the art and history of the local community. The Lendlease development is a part of a $440 million redevelopment and expansion, which will add a total of 35,000 sqm to the retail space of the centre. Grand Central Shopping Centre recognised with a Regional Commendation at AIA Awards

Grand Central Shopping Centre has been recognised with a Regional Commendation for Commercial Architecture at the 2019 Australian Institute of Architects Awards in Queensland’s Darling Downs / West Moreton Region. Senior Architect Katrina Tolhurst and Marketing Adviser Lauren Bolton have been selected as participants in the Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property program, with Associate Director Anne Rigby acting as a sponsor for Katrina. The 500 Women in Property program champions the professional growth of women in the industry by providing networking and career development opportunities, Buchan looks forward to following Lauren and Katrina’s contributions to the program.

New AEIOU Early Intervention Centre Construction Imminent

Construction of the new AEIOU Early Intervention Centre in Bald Hills is ready to commence, marked by a recent sod turning ceremony. The $4.5 million development will provide a world-class hub for children aged two to six with autism, providing early intervention as well as space for research, training and outreach services. New retail development coming to Kuala Lumpur

Construction of Kuala Lumpur retail mall, ’Merdeka @ 118’ is scheduled to begin in April 2019. The seven-storey glass domed shopping centre sits within the podium of the 118-storey skyscraper and will provide visitors with an inspiring retail and lifestyle experience. ‘Merdeka @ 118’ will include over 200 stores and a state-of-the-art cinema complex, providing a diverse offering which caters to all ages, interests and tastes.
