Buchan was named as a finalist for Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay in the Waterfront category of the 2018 World Architecture News awards. Attracting entries from architects all over the world, the award aims to bring together some of the best designs and celebrate projects that embrace and exploit the benefits of sites in proximity to water.
Buchan’s design for the ‘island paradise’ showcases a striking design centred around a man-made lagoon. The 250-room resort offers almost every guest a water view with a choice of incredible restaurants, a cafe, bakery, spa, three swimming pools and private white sand beach.
The Awards were announced on 20 November in London, United Kingdom.
