Astonlee Residence WIVENHOE, QLD
This distinctive residence is robust yet liveable, appropriate to its rural setting and with a high level of internal sophistication.
Two pavilions allow the creation of individual spaces, with changes in density, material and focus. An angled skillion roof and angled pre-cast panels 'bookend' each pavilion in a linear design that allows living spaces to be distributed along the building. Blade walls separate the pavilions to create breathing spaces and articulate the external elevations, celebrating the transition between spaces.
